Ari's Got A Blog

My good internet friend, Ari Jokimäki from Finland, now has a blog!

His main focuses on the blog are discordant redshift systems - that is, galaxies, quasars, etc. where the objects do not seem to be at their redshift distance - and the history of cosmology.

There are even pictures, so it's a lot prettier than this place.

Thanks for noticing. :)

The number of visitors in my blog immediately took a jump. ;)

I'm impressed! I didn't think we had enough traffic here to actually help anyone out :)

I'm glad we could send traffic your way, Ari - you do the work to deserve it :)

All I ask is that you continue with the cosmology history pieces because I love that stuff but am too lazy to go reading through scans of papers in the 1920s :)

You may find a jump in your comments, too. Apart from the many good regular folks we have on here, you will also have some comments from absolute geniuses who will remark, "I'm so glad you pointed this out. I really like this post." and will give you a link to the web site expounding their theories at http://oneline-playpooker-stripwimmin.net/v1agakr4.htm?sekrittrackingnumbur=834723841.

You're welcome in advance!

Thanks. :)

The history pieces will go on at least as long as there's some scientists to cover (currently there is already 5-10 in sight, I think).

I have had those kind of messages already. For some strange reason they seem to find you even if you have non-popular blog.

Actually, it seems to be *especially* if you have a non-popular blog. One ass testing out his software left links to his product, and on one of the main pages, he says:

We all know that commenting on blogs and articles can be an excellent way to get back links. We also know that the best links come from places untouched by others. That's why we created the [spammy crapper], the only commenting script you'll ever need.

Emphasis mine. Bleh.
