"Star Wars" before and after

11/27/07 | by Adam | Categories: Potpourri

A few posts ago I made a comment about George Lucas' 'futzing' around with his films. I figured I might dig out a few references showing the more subtle differences.

First up is starwars.com's side-by-side comparison. This is a really extensive set of annotated screenshots from original movie (aka 'Episode IV') compared to the newest DVD release. It's an impressive compilation.

Next up at dvdactive is their change list for the initial trilogy.

If you were wondering where the Wikipedia cite was, well, it's here.

There are a slew of other articles covering the same terrain, but that list should keep you busy for an evening!

"Ready, Aye, Ready" was a slogan used by Canadian politicians to indicate Canada's willingness to assist the British Empire in any conflict. It remains in use as a motto for some of the Canadian military. It has almost nothing to do with the content of this blog.
