Latest arrival from the link-meisters at Engadget is this display of what happens when a laptop battery explodes. Unlike previous recorded fires, this one has been set up deliberately and gives a much better view of the progression as each battery cell blows.
Here is the specific URL reference…

Just as a minor note, if the title on the post is a link, it usually goes to the source material so you don’t need to post an additional version of the link.
Oho! I thought that perhaps the issue was with my browser then, but it isn’t– it’s the skin. Clicking on the title in this particular skin takes me back to the blog entry.
Damn you, wpc_aubmach! *shakes fist*
Didn’t even occur to me that the skin might be the problem. Let’s hear it for consistent UI design!
Adam… you are a blogging freak! I was just checking on the look of my comment, and thought I had done something (clicked a button twice or some such), but there you are!
…you and Ritchie…
Blogging peas in a pod!
*wink!*
PS– I’ve switched to nifty_corners.
Much prettier *and* the title links work properly. :D
…mmmMMMmmm! Colour gradations…
It’s a Sunday morning and I’m just sipping my tea (no biscuit) while checking what’s new in the world.
And what should appear, but a notification saying someone had commented on a post. Well, naturally, I had to authorize it immediately!
For what it’s worth, I use the “custom” skin. Clean layout, properly followed borders, readable fonts.
